Traute’s estrangement from Hans Scholl

Regarding the relationship between Lafrenz and Hans Scholl, I know that Lafrenz slowly became estranged from Hans Scholl during the summer of 1942. She then grew closer to me.

I believe that Lafrenz more and more withdrew from Scholl for personal reasons. I do not believe that Lafrenz left Scholl for political reasons, because I firmly believe that Lafrenz knew Scholl’s actual political attitudes as little as I myself did.

I will never believe that Lafrenz was in any way an active participant in Scholl’s machinations.
