In any case, I could not tell that she had been very close to Hans Scholl recently. She also did not come around to Scholl’s apartment any more. She seemed to avoid it [the apartment].

Hans Scholl did not treat her very nicely. He made it perfectly clear that he did not want to have anything to do with her.
