Supreme High Command hands off to People’s Court

In accordance with an agreement made with the Supreme High Command of the Armed Forces and the Reich Minister of Justice, the trial against the accused who are soldiers has been remanded to the jurisdiction of the People’s Court. Their decision shall stand.

Editor’s note: Unlike the document for Hans Scholl and Christoph Probst, this document (for Willi Graf, Alexander Schmorell, Franz Josef Müller, and Falk Harnack) did not survive. Only this reference, and a subsequent one in a pre-indictment document, memorialize the decision.

We do know that the decision was handed down on or prior to March 23, 1943, when it was referenced in the second document.
