Schertling taken into custody
Decree:
Due to suspicion of collusion in the matter of high treason Hans Scholl, Schertling is taken into custody [Note 1] on March 29, 1943.
By order of /Signed: Mohr/
==========
Note 1: Does not say temporary or investigative as with most others involved in the White Rose arrests and trial.
Editor’s note: This was typed onto the bottom of Gisela Schertling’s two-part interrogation dated March 29, 1943. – Also important to notice who ordered her arrest: Robert Mohr. This document (and others) directly disproves his postwar claims that he was more lenient with White Rose defendants than other Gestapo agents would have been.
