Regarding: Criminal case against Schmorell Alexander et al, for preparation for high treason
Here: Request for reimbursement of costs as defense counsel for the accused Huber Kurt, Bauer Helmut and Schüddekopf Katharina. 6J 24/43 – 1H 101/43.
On April 22, 1943 I issued an invoice for the pre-trial proceedings in accordance with §67, [illegible], since I visited both of the accused Huber Kurt and Bauer Helmut in prison immediately following my appointment as their court-appointed defense counsel on April 14, 1943. Following [that visit], I filed a written report. However, since the trial date had already been set at that time, the accounting office struck those charges.
However for reasons of fairness I herewith request that the charges for pre-trial proceedings be remitted, since I undertook their defense without delay.
/Signed: [illegible/
